Welcome to the Granby Center Fire Department Inc. Web Site. The Granby Center fire department is 100% VOLUNTEER... 100% of the time. We provide Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services to the Town of Granby in Oswego County New York. We cover approximately 29 square miles with a population of about 4100 people.

History - Our Building

In 1936 a site on the Granby Center – Bowens Corners road was donated by Elmer Taylor for use as a firebarn. Money was raised in numerous ways, such as field days, suppers and donations. The materials were purchased and a building approximately 20 x 24 feet was erected.
